For Music Teachers
You teach the music. Let Chord Quest take care of the practice.
Your students hear their exact part from any piece of sheet music before or after the lesson, so you spend your time teaching expression, technique, and musicality instead of re-teaching notes.

Questions teachers ask.
Is Chord Quest really free for music teachers?
Yes. Verified music teachers get free access to Chord Quest — no charge and no card required. Students pay a small monthly subscription; teachers never pay a cent.
What sheet music does Chord Quest work with?
Chord Quest reads photos, PDFs, and images of sheet music, and is optimized for clean, clear beginner-level scores across piano, voice, strings, and more — Faber, Hal Leonard, Alfred, Suzuki, Henle, RCM, and others. It does not support handwritten notation.
Does Chord Quest replace my teaching method?
No. Chord Quest doesn't require a new curriculum, new workflow, or new repertoire. It works alongside whatever you already do — it just fixes what happens at home between lessons.
What makes Chord Quest different from other apps?
Chord Quest works alongside real teachers — not around them. It uses real notation (not pictures or numbers) and lets students interact with their own sheet music, not a preset library. By hearing their part played on their own instrument, students build confidence, understand what they're practicing, and make faster progress.
The Last Thing
Don't change how you teach.
Change what happens between lessons.
Chord Quest isn't a replacement for the magic that happens in your lessons. It's the tool that keeps students practicing — and progressing — between them.
