What does Chord Quest cost?
It depends which of you is asking. An individual teacher bringing their own students uses Chord Quest at no charge once verified, and those students subscribe themselves. Studio and school programs are scoped and quoted per program — there is no per-seat price list, because a forty-student band room and a three-hundred-student district are not the same rollout. What sheet music does Chord Quest work with?
Photos, PDFs, and images of sheet music, across piano, voice, strings, brass, and woodwinds — Faber, Hal Leonard, Alfred, Suzuki, Henle, RCM, and the rest. It is optimized for clean, clearly printed scores. It does not read handwritten notation.
Does Chord Quest replace how we already teach?
No. There is no new curriculum to adopt, no new repertoire to buy, and nothing to reconfigure. Chord Quest reads the music you already assign and works alongside whatever you already do. What changes is what happens at home between lessons and rehearsals.
What makes it different from what we already use?
Students interact with their own sheet music rather than a preset library, and they hear the specific part they are responsible for, on their own instrument. Around that sits the rest of the practice room — fundamentals, tuner, metronome, a musical count-in — so a student is not stitching together four apps to get through one assignment.
How long does a rollout take?
For an individual teacher, one sitting. For a studio or a school program, we scope it with you first and stay on it through the first full concert cycle. It is hands-on by design — we are onboarding a small number of programs directly rather than handing you a signup form and a help center.

Do my teachers have to change how they teach?
No. Chord Quest reads the sheet music your faculty already assigns — any publisher, any edition. Teachers keep their repertoire and their methods.
How do my teachers get set up?
Each teacher verifies their status and we walk your faculty through it together. You are not distributing instructions and hoping they land.
What do families have to do?
Students scan the music your teachers assign and practice with it at home. Families subscribe individually, so there is nothing for you to administer or collect.
What if my faculty teaches wildly different instruments?
That is the normal case. Playback follows the part in front of the student, in their own instrument or vocal sound, so a violin student and a trumpet student get the same benefit from the same tool.
